3 events not to be missed this week

The week is already over, tomorrow is Monday and the job resumes. But the week is already busy, so do not miss the three main events that will take place there.

• Xiaomi launches its Mi MIX 2

At a time not so far away, the screens of our smartphones were surrounded by thick borders, except for a few UFOs that never arrived to us. In 2017, however, the fashion of the borderless has touched the market and is already invited on both flagships and entry-level terminals.
The first to have been really noticed in the West, although it was never officially marketed, is the Xiaomi Mi MIX, designed by Philippe Starck. This week, the Chinese brand is about to announce its successor, the Mi MIX 2. This one looks already powerful and better finished than its predecessor.
The announcement will take place on September 11 at 8:00 am.

• The new iPhone arrives

As every year at this time, Apple will hold a conference to present its new range of smartphones. This year is however special since it is the 10 years of the iPhone and so we must expect some renewal. This one would bear the name of iPhone X and would stand out by its borderless screen OLED very chic.
In addition to this iPhone 8, Apple would also have in its boxes two more traditional phones as well as an augmented reality headset.
The conference will take place on September 12th at 7pm.

• The launch of the Nokia 8

Apart from announcements, this week will also be marked by the launch of the Nokia 8 in the trade. Equipped like a very high-end smartphone (but without a borderless screen) and benefiting from Nokia's exemplary software support, this smartphone is already interesting, albeit imperfect.
